All too often, once installed to a hard drive, digital content can easily be copied and moved to another machine – not so with Digital Armor! Digital Armor employs a proprietary technology, known as LiftLock, which associates strategic files you select when building the kit with a unique value established from calculated attributes from the installed machine, literally binding it to that machine and preventing yet other copying methods. Digital Armor does not require the exchange or sharing of any user data or information in creating the signature. At the same time, LiftLock maintains reasonable flexibility for machine modifications and, unlike other technologies, the end-user can make a back-up copy of the installed directory for use in restoring the title to the original computer. This preserves the customer’s right to make such a copy without undermining the effectiveness of the copy protection.
