ECD Systems® Announces 3rd Annual Indie Game Showcase Winners

    Similar to last year’s contest, the Indie Game Contest spotlighted entries in two categories – general and casual - with the addition of a student award for best student game entry.
    The winning games were chosen from online popular voting cast between March 14 and June 30, 2008 by users playing games and voting online at www.indiegameshowcase.com.
    A judging panel consisting of industry professionals then selected the winners and three finalists from ten semi-finalist games in each category.

Winners:

  • General Catergory: Engine of War – developed by Michael Todd, Akith Games (Canada)
  • Casual Category: Stranded II – developed by Peter Schauß, Unreal Software (Germany)
  • Student Category: Zenek Zombie – developed by Maciej Lamberski (Poland)
